Social Inclusion (GEDSI)
Working at the interface of sustainability challenges with environmental and social justice, we understand the critical importance of recognising and incorporating wide perspectives in solutions that are based in the meaningful participation and inclusion of women, marginalised groups, and indigenous communities.
SSIC has decades of experience providing technical assistance to assess and integrate GEDSI considerations into program design, delivery, measurement and reporting. We have strong communication skills in cross-cultural and multi-lingual environments and extensive experience working alongside country teams and local civil society organisations to support project implementation. At an organisational level, we lead the development and implementation of inclusion strategies, review policy environments for GEDSI-responsiveness, and facilitate capacity-building initiatives aimed at enhancing GEDSI awareness and engagement.
