Undertaking a mixed-method baseline study exploring the prevailing situation of communities and mechanisms to increase the capacity of local Disaster Management Committees to develop and implement gender- and disability-inclusive disaster risk-reduction and climate change adaptation plans. Exploring systems to increase livelihood and employment opportunities that are climate-resilient and nutrition-sensitive, and increase access to financial services, especially for women and people with disabilities.
Reviewing the individual country strategies and partner interventions for strengthening community resilience (SCR) and the design of a common framework against which all of the countries can report. The SCR project brings together projects from the four countries with different interventions but similar outcomes. The assignment was conducted remotely through online country level consultations as well as workshops with representatives of the four countries.
Undertaking a mid-term review of this multi-year arrangement, including the prepositioning of cash and relief goods by the Philippine Red Cross to ensure quick mobilization of support to victims of natural calamities. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic the arrangement was expanded to include testing equipment and operational costs for the country’s largest COVID testing laboratory, and to provide other equipment to help the Philippines handle the outbreak.

Supporting the design, development, implementation and facilitation of the Partners Meeting for the six-nation Coral Triangle Initiative for Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security (CTI-CFF). Focused on progress of the partner papers initiatives in: (1) development of a Conservation Trust Fund, (2) development of a Capacity Building RoadMap for the region, and (3) enhancement of International Policy Engagement.

Successful in securing seed funding for purchase of property and plant equipment. The organization is looking to create a new operation focused on creating zero emissions, zero waste and regenerative replanting of native forests.
Reviewing submitted Requests for Information (RFI) and other relevant background information and proposal drafts from expert teams at multiples stages throughout a marine programme proposal process. Supporting the live proposal reviews (pink & red stages) and submitting feedback accordingly.
